When the Southeast Asian tsunami occurred in 2004, Jianji Company organized all employees to donate money and materials, and the leaders of Jianji Company personally sent money and materials to the International Red Cross; when the Wenchuan earthquake occurred in 2008, Jianji Company organized another love donation, and the company's leaders personally led a team to drive to the disaster area twice to express condolences.

 

Especially around the Spring Festival in 2020, when the pneumonia pandemic caused by COVID-19 spread throughout the country, the company showed "boundless love" in the face of "merciless pandemic". After learning that the staff of various pandemic prevention and control duty stations almost every day filled their hunger with instant noodles under the circumstance of the out-of-service of most businesses in the catering industry due to the pandemic, Zhang Jianji, as a catering professional being engaged in catering for nearly 40 years, had got the idea of delivering meals for free. So he led his team to deliver free meals to the front-line epidemic prevention and control workers in Chang'an District. Since the sixth day of the Lunar New Year, before dawn every morning, he and his team began to prepare for the "love meal" for noon, washing vegetables, cutting meat and cooking. The recipes were different every day and the meals were varied. Sometimes, they delivered beef and mutton Paomo and jujube steamed cakes; sometimes, they delivered pork ball soup, beef ball stew, beef marrow oil rice and crispy beef cake. "The meatballs have to be fried in advance. The broth is the delicious soup prepared by the team's chefs at midnight, complete with the Guokui pancake baked every day. We must make the front-line comrades eat well," said Zhang Jianji. "We must make the love meal around 10:30 in the morning, and then immediately set off to deliver the food, so that those who stick to their post in the front line of prevention and control can eat hot soup and hot rice on time".

At the same time, he also led the staff to send rice, flour, grain, oil, vegetables and fruits, as well as special snacks such as Paomo, stewed vegetables, beef patties, Guokui, and Jing Gao many times to villagers in 14 villages deep in the mountains due to the blockage by the pandemic, prevention and control personnel at dozens of prevention and control work points and in many residential communities. He also led his staff to the sub-district offices and villages in the area of Yanshan to deliver the carefully cooked food to the local street and village cadres, environmental sanitation workers, gas station employees, express delivery workers and villagers. His loving action filled the land of Sanqin with warm spring spirit and deep love.
